'I’ve been getting a lot of comments about the team decision, that I should have been jumping instead of Bjørn and so on. That’s WRONG, Bjørn was jumping better than me, and he really deserved the spot in the team. We were fighting for the spot under the same circumstances, and he was the strongest. I feel really sorry for him that he wasn’t showing his best jumps in the team event, but everybody should know that he was the right man for the job.'
